Dub Mayer „Checkpoint Charlie" is the name of the new release on the munich based label „BeatModul Records. Dub, who is based in Berlin, counts to one of the most talented techno producers in Germany and with Checkpoint Charlie he delivered a real masterpiece of techhouse. The track is flavoured with nice melodic violins, combined with dirty minimal beats and soulful influcences. The package contains the original mix and remixes by the Serbian newcomer Subotic and the French producer Maxime Boiron. Especially the Subotic Remix reminds us to the good old Detroit techno days and got hute feedback by all the big dj's already.
