He's been called a Hip Hop legend by many inside and outside of the industry. He is known throughout for nurturing young talents and building them into superstars. Monroe Walker also known in the world of music as DJ Motiv8 is a pioneer and key veteran in Hip Hop music and culture always representing as one of the most innovative and creative producer/DJ in the world. I started my production career DJin on stage with well known artist of the Phillippines Gary V. ,Kuh Ledesma,Francis Magalona,RAPASIA,and a then young singer from Star Search BANIG.I dj'd and co-produced with my mentor George Black on several projects with these artist. In the early 90's when Motiv8 was DJing the West Coast club circuit he came across an aspiring MC by the name of William Adams, eager to learn with the right drive and hunger for success, he took it upon himself to teach him the ways of music production studio recording and overall presence and performance. Later they would add two other MCs.

Today they are known in the world as AplDe Ap, Taboo and Will.i.am Now better known as the World Famous Black Eyed Peas. For years they worked and lived together in pursuit of making there love for music into more than just a passion for hip hop. By 1993 they were signed onto Easy Es record label Ruthless Records under the group name the Atban Klann. In 1994 the record came out which was produced by DJ Motiv8. Unfortunately shortly after the records release, Easy E passed away due at an eraly age due to a publicly unknown infection of the A.I.D.S. virus. The Atban Klann were then released from Ruthless Records.

Motiv8 continued Djing on artists tracks such as Kylie Minogue always remaining busy at work in the studio producing tracks for many artists. Also touring as a solo artist in countries such as the Philippines, Japan, and Australia where he has headlined overseas tours with MC Supernatural. By this time, the Black Eyed Peas had been Created and Motiv8 since The Atban Klann days remained as their official group DJ. Touring all over the world and appearing in many of the early music videos from albums such as Behind the Frontand Bridging the Gap.

Furthermore he is the only featured scratch DJ for the Black Eyed Peas from the first album to the current and upcoming projects.

Although touring took up a large part of his time, Motiv8 has always found time to work with some of the worlds biggest and respected artists. Producing tracks for Music Legends like Madonna ("Ray of Light album"), Billy Idol and the Coors,etc. He is also the drum programmer on Nsyncs hit song (Drive Myself Crazy from their first album) which helped launch the careers of these international pop stars. He is of course always heavily involved with Hip Hop and is affiliated with groups such as the Scarub of Living Legends,Ahkil of Jurassic 5, The Blood of Abraham and Tippa Irie.

DJ Motiv8 has also developed and given birth to a talented collective of DJs, M.C.'s and Visual Artists now officially Known as the "Universal Scientists Crew".

Creating, Pioneering, Developing and always taking music to new places, Universal Scientists represent to the fullest in Hip Hop and Drum and Bass with a great deal of success on the West Coast with there sites on the world. Lead by Hip Hop Veteran and Creator of The Universal Scientists DJ Motiv8 leads the way to build the path for even Universal Scientists collective of artists.

He has also worked with Shifty from the group Crazy Town, Harnessing and assisting him to develop his skills in order to take the group to the next level. In addition to this he is working on projects with both up and coming and of course established artists in the scene.Currently Motiv8 is Producing/Co-producing tracks for both Taboo, Apl De Aps and Fergie's solo projects with a few songs for Dante Santiago (Black Eyed Peas Vocalist) along with a recently produced single for American Idol Corey Clark's official debut Album. Along with Hip Hop legend The one and only "KID" formerly of KID N' PLAY.

Motiv8 is more than just a DJ that spins records. His live shows are unique with high energy and there is nothing quite like a set performed by DJ Motiv8. As of recent he has performed in such cities as Las Vegas, San Diego, San Francisco, London, Newcastle, Leeds, Munich, Cologne, Hamburg, Honolulu and also Dubai,UAE(United Arab Emirates) while also being the Resident DJ at Hollywoods Hottest and Largest Night Club-The Highlands (Located at Hollywood and Highlands in the Kodak Theatre Complex also the Home of the Acdemy Awards) while DJing many other exclusive events all over the united states and of course the world.

Motiv8 has also built a unique and strong relationship with the webs leading networking and friends site www.myspace.com who themselves have now over 11 million users and growing rapidly now on average about a million people monthly. Myspace considers DJ Motiv8 as their Headlining prize DJ for Large and key myspace events and parties.

Er wurde von vielen innerhalb und außerhalb der Musikindustrie als Legende bezeichnet. Er ist überall dafür bekannt, junge Talente zu pflegen und sie zu Superstars aufzubauen. Monroe Walker, in der Musikwelt bekannt als DJ MOTIV8 ist ein Pionier und Schlüsselveteran in der Musikindustrie und der Musikkultur, der stets als einer der innovativsten und kreativsten Produzenten und DJs in der Welt dasteht. Ich habe meine Produktionskarriere begonnen, indem ich auf der Bühne als DJ mit wohlbekannten Künstlern der Phillippinen, Gary V., Kuh Ledesma, Francis Magalona, RAPASIA und einem damals jungen Sänger von Star Search, BANIG.I gearbeitet habe - aufgelegt und koproduziert mit meinem Mentor George Black in mehreren Projekten mit diesem Künstler. In den frühen 90ern, als Motiv8 in der West Coast Club Rotation DJ war, begegnete er einem ehrgeizigen MC mit dem Namen William Adams, (Wil.I.Am), lernbegierig und mit dem richtigen Schwung und Hunger auf Erfolg. Er übernahm es selber, ihm Musikproduktion, Studio Recording,sowie Auftreten und Performance, beizubringen. Später sollten sie zwei weitere MCs hinzufügen.

Heute sind sie der Welt bekannt als AplDe Ap., Taboo und Will.i.am – jetzt besser bekannt als die weltberühmten Black Eyed Peas. Über Jahre arbeiteten und lebten sie zusammen, bestrebt, aus ihrer Liebe zur Musik mehr zu machen, als nur eine Leidenschaft für Hip Hop. 1993 wurden sie beim Easy Es Label Ruthless Records unter dem Gruppennamen the Atban Klann unter Vertrag genommen. 1994 kam die Platte heraus, produziert durch DJ Motiv8. Leider verstarb Easy Es kurz nach der Record Release in jungem Alter an den Folgen einer der Öffentlichkeit unbekannten Infektion mit dem AIDS Virus. The Atban Klann wurden dann durch Ruthless Records veröffentlicht.

Motiv8 fuhr mit dem Djing für Tracks von Künstlern, wie Kylie Minogue, fort – immer beschäftigt mit der Arbeit im Studio und dem Produzieren von Tracks für viele Künstler. Zudem tourte er als Solokünstler in Ländern wie den Phillippinen, Japan und Australien, wo er als Headliner Überseetouren mit MC Supernatural machte. Zu dieser Zeit waren die Black Eyed Peas erschaffen worden und Motiv8 blieb seit den Tagen von The Atban Klann ihr offizieller Gruppen DJ. Er tourte durch die ganze Welt und erschien in vielen der frühen Musikvideos zu Alben wie Behind the Front and Bridging the Gap.

Weiterhin ist er der einzige benannte Scratch DJ für die Black Eyed Peas, vom ersten Album bis hin zu den gegenwärtigen und den kommenden Projekten.

Obwohl das Touren einen großen Teil seiner Zeit in Anspruch genommen hat, hat Motiv8 immer Zeit gefunden, mit einigen der größten und am meisten respektierten Künstlern der Welt, zusammen zu arbeiten. Er produziert Tracks für Musiklegenden, wie Madonna („Ray of Light Album"), Billy Idol und the Coors, etc. Er ist außerdem Drum Programer von Nsyncs Hit Song (Drive Myself Crazy von ihrem ersten Album), der half, die Karriere dieser internationalen Popstars zu starten. Indem sie erschaffen, Wege weisen, entwickeln und Musik stets an neue Ort bringen, sind die Universal Scientists voll und ganz vertreten in Hip-Hop, House, Electro, Dub-Step und Drum and Bass – mit viel Erfolg in der ganzen Welt. Angeführt durch Electro Veteran und Schöpfer der Universal Scientists, weist DJ Motiv8 den Weg, das Universal Scientists Kollektiv von Künstlern aufzubauen.

Er arbeitete zudem mit Shifty von der Gruppe Crazy Town. Er spannte ihn ein und assistierte ihm dabei, seine Fähigkeiten zu entwickeln, um die Gruppe auf das nächste Level zu bringen. Zusätzlich hierzu arbeitet er an Projekten mit aufstrebenden, kommenden und natürlich etablierten Künstlern in der Szene. Derzeit produziert, bzw. koproduziert Motiv8 Tracks für Taboo, Apl De Aps und Fergie's Soloprojekte, ein paar Songs für Dante Santiago (Vokalist der Black Eyed Peas) und eine Single für das offizielle Debutalbum von American Idol Corey Clark und Tracks mit Hip Hop Legende The one and only "KID", ehemals bekannt von KID N' PLAY.

Motiv8 ist mehr als nur ein DJ, der Platten laufen lässt. Seine Liveshows sind einzigartig, haben viel Energie und es gibt nichts vergleichbares, wie ein Set, performed von DJ Motiv8.
